Mt. Washington Auto Rd.

   I’ve hiked up Mt. Washington from the bottom numerous times, but then you get to the top and there are tons of people, cars, trains, buildings est. ,which always took the beauty of being on top of a mountain away from me.  Sort of the last thing I would want to see after hiking a mountain all day.  Well last week I was a hypocrite and used the auto road to reach the top and was actually amazed how nice it was, and how much of a different view you got of the White Mountains.. I’ve been recovering from a back injury from a mtn bike accident that occurred near the beginning of Summer, so hiking the entire way up was out of the question. After doing a lot of nothing for a couple months trying to allow my back to heal properly, I was really itching to do something outdoors and thought it would be fun to take my new to me motorcycle to New Hampshire and up The Mt. Washington Auto Rd. Once I got to the mob scene at the top I quickly hiked out toward the Great Gulf to get away from the crowds.. Here are some pictures to share from my Auto Road adventure and as much as I hate the crowds and cars on top of such an awesome mtn, I thought the Auto Road was a really sweet ride.
